I was in tears from the first paragraph. I think it's because this post shows how much of our lives we have lived since our friendship began. Those young years in Seminary were so short but they feel long. The friendship ran deep and I know now, after the reconnecting through social media after all these years that I still so very much enjoy you. Ours is not a friendship I would have outgrown. I'm glad for your memories at your farm, indeed all of them. I'm glad your life has been rich and full. Ours has too. And I'm so very glad that for a short time at least, God saw fit to bless us with the gift of friendship, the face to face kind. I love you, old friend. And, although they may not be at the farm, I have some wonderful and not so wonderful memories with you. Together, the good and the bad make life beautiful and meaningful.
