I have heard as one goes through the grieving process one should avoid any major changes during the 1st full year. I support you and hope Precious L understands, NO DOG ;-)

Thank you for your willingness to share your journey through your blog. I pray for you and your children daily to continue to feel the Presence of our Loving Jesus standing by your side each and every day.

It is amazing and beautiful how God can use even the hardest and most heartbreaking times in our lives to open up opportunities for us to minister to each other, learn from each other, and find comfort with each other. Praying for you often as God continues (throughout your life) to heal the hurt loss leaves behind. Love you and am so glad to share this journey with you through your blog posts! Thank you for blessing my heart!

Only someone who had gone through the grieving process understands where you are right now, Ginger. I'm glad you had some time with a friend who has walked the same path. And I'm sure there will be others BECAUSE your heart is open now to recognize other grievers. You know just the words to say . . . or not say. You know what do for them. You know the importance of listening to the griever because we need to talk about the person, their last days, memories, the LOSS. Glad you are posting - I am listening and praying.

Ginger,
Sounds like you guys are a "gift" to one another during these seasons of pain and grief. I so appreciate your honesty and openness as you share your experiences through your blog posts, it's really one of the healthiest ways you can process your grief. Write, scream, cry, talk, exercise, pray, listen to music, etc.......to deal with all of the various emotions, feelings, and pain that will emerge as a result of your profound loss.
The depth of your love is often proportionate to the depth and severity of the grief expreience, so give yourself time, space, and permission to be broken while on this journey. Jennifer and I are here for you.
